Job Summary

Location: New York NY 10016
Assignment Duration: 14 Weeks (Contract Only No Extension)
Schedule: MondayFriday 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $35 per hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Social Health Technician to join a behavioral health team for a 14-week contract assignment in New York NY. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in behavioral health settings who are passionate about supporting patients with mental health needs in a structured clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct support and assistance to patients in a behavioral health setting
Monitor patient behavior and help maintain a safe structured and therapeutic environment
Assist clinical staff with patient care activities and documentation as needed
Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts under the supervision of licensed professionals
Ensure compliance with facility policies safety standards and patient confidentiality regulations
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience (required)
AHA BLS Certification (required)
Strong communication and observational skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care
