School Office Support II Summer School (Senior High)

St. Albert Catholic High School

Temporary Part Time Offsite: Hours as required from March 10 2026 June 30 2026 with the majority falling in the evenings and on weekends.

Onsite: July 2 2026 July 24 2026 (7:45 am - 1:45 pm)

Duties to Commence: March 10 2026 until July 24 2026

Experience/Education:

  • High School Diploma supplemented by related post-secondary education.
  • Knowledge of basic office routines procedures and practices is required.
  • Knowledge of Gmail Google Docs and Excel is an asset.
  • Secretarial diploma or training is an asset.
  • Strong understanding and skill set with PowerSchool at the high school level.
  • Report compilation and editing (PASI).
  • Manage and verify completion of all documentation for student CUM files.
  • Experience with using Powerschool to register secondary/concurrent registrations.
  • Work with Course Technician to generate and submit DER file and final marks to Alberta Education.
  • Experience working with Moodle is an asset.
  • Communicate with Alberta Education with respect to students who require accommodations for diploma exams.
  • Experience with cash Accounts Receivable/Payable purchasing internal & external reporting along with knowledge of internal controls.
  • Excellent analytical skills and general ledger reconciliation experience is required.

  • Apply foundational knowledge about First Nations Métis and Inuit for the benefit of all students and support the Divisions goals towards advancing Truth and Reconciliation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills excellent phone etiquette and reception skills.
  • Strong organizational written oral communication skills.
  • Completing registrations entering registration information into PowerSchool and confirming information and registration with parents.
  • Processing course fees.
  • Tracking payments and registration information.
  • Ability to work independently in a busy setting processing a large volume of work with little supervision.
  • Ability to work appropriately with senior high school students.
  • Ability to work as a support team member.
  • Prepare and coordinate Excel spreadsheets.
  • Experience at the senior high level preferred.
  • Other duties as assigned. Maintain correspondence with students regarding writing Diploma exams.
  • Generate and mail final report cards.
