Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced LPN Medical Surgical/Telemetry for a 13-week night shift assignment in an acute care setting. The LPN will manage assigned patients independently with RN support and provide comprehensive bedside care in a fast-paced MS/Tele unit.
Scheduling & Requirements
(4x12-hour shifts)
Every other weekend required
Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
EPIC experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Floating required within skillset
RTO and special scheduling requests must be submitted at time of submission
Required License & Certifications
Active New York State LPN License (NY is not compact; pending licenses not accepted)
BLS Certification required
Clinical Experience Required
Acute Care experience within the last 2 years
Ability to take a full patient assignment with RN support
MS/Telemetry care setting experience

Procedural & Support Skills
Basic wound care (simple dressings JP/Hemovac drains)
Bathing and oral care
Foley catheter insertion (male/female)
Clean catch urine collection
Communicating patient status changes to RN/MD

Patient Population: Medical patients (COPD exacerbation infections failure to thrive social-related admissions)
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio (Days): 1:56
