Job Summary
At Ovivo Ultra Pure Water by Ecolab we offer you the opportunity to expand your skills and professional experience while collaborating with worldwide experts in water treatment.
As a Field Service Engineer you are responsible for performing equipment commissioning Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) on-site preventative maintenance on-site equipment troubleshooting and repair and customer training. When offsite the Field Service Engineer provides remote support to clients assists with in-house testing as needed and prepares proposals for spare parts and field upgrades.

What You Will Do
- Travel to customer site to perform equipment commissioning Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) on-site preventative maintenance on-site equipment troubleshooting and repair and training for domestic and international customers.
- Provide feedback to engineering project management and manufacturing on lessons learned.
- Maintain detailed field service trip reports.
- Work with engineering for drawing and software updates based on field service work performed or future trips.
- Coordinate with customers on the procurement of spare parts and field upgrades
- Provide after-market technical and sales support
Position Details
- This is a remote position requiring the successful candidate to reside within one hour of a major airport.
- The primary territory covers the entire United States with a particular emphasis on the Eastern region
- This role involves extensive weekday travel with up to 75% of your time spent on overnight trips.
- Rare but occasional international travel may be necessary
During your training program you will be required to travel to Wastech Offices in Chatsworth CA for 8 weeks. The remaining weeks will be in-field training. Ecolab will arrange and pay for your travel and certain travel-related expenses. You are responsible for having the proper documentation to fly such as a Real ID or other acceptable form of identification.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 3 to 5 years relevant work experience preferably in manufacturing
- Familiarity with industrial process equipment
- Working experience with AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with PLCs HMIs and electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- No immigration sponsorship available for this role
