About the Role:

The Sr. Manager Global Sourcing Corporate Vendor Management is a newly created leadership position focused on ensuring transparency governance and compliance throughout the vendor lifecycle. This role provides enterprise-wide oversight on key areas such as Vendor Risk ESG Contracts IT Security & Compliance Data Protection Social Responsibility and Business Continuity. The Sr. Manager collaborates across business units corporate functions and sourcing teams to develop and uphold robust vendor management standards that address changing business and regulatory needs. The ideal candidate is a strategic detail-oriented professional with extensive sourcing compliance and vendor governance experience capable of independently solving complex challenges and mentoring others. This position is highly collaborative requiring effective stakeholder engagement and the enforcement of essential policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise Corporate Vendor Management strategy establishing standardized vendor governance risk management and operating models across the organization.
  • Own end-to-end vendor lifecycle oversight ensuring consistent standards risk mitigation and remediation from onboarding through offboarding.
  • Direct governance policy compliance and MSP oversight driving adherence reporting remediation and value realization across vendor and contingent workforce programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation leveraging process optimization automation and AI initiatives to enhance efficiency and control.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Sourcing and / or Procurement Management.
  • 3-5 years experience with Vendor Risk Management and Compliance Frameworks.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and sourcing tools (e.g. Ariba Coupa).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We are committed to fair transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive compensation in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. The range below represents Wileys good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles either in the United Kingdom Canada or USA. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to geographic location skills and competencies.
