Schedule:Per Diem - As Needed
(4 shifts a month 2 weekend shifts required)
SUMMARY:
Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for providing basic patient care under the direct supervision of the nurses responsible for patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide or assist residents with bathing feeding toileting repositioning exercises and other Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) according to individualized care plans.
Support residents with nourishment fluids and intake recording; ensure timely response to resident requests.
Maintain accurate documentation of care food/fluid intake and shift reports while following policies and protocols.
Assist in maintaining resident equipment and environment in a clean safe and functional manner; report and follow processes for repairs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of NYS approved certified nursing assistant program
Active CNA certification within New York State
Minimum age requirement: 18
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read write and speak English ability to follow verbal and written instruction

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations including continuing education requirements.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
