Job Summary
Job Overview:
The Barback facilitates the smooth service of the bar by assisting and supporting Bartenders and Servers to ensure prompt service and satisfied guests.
Reports to:Lead Bartender and F&B Management
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for completing tasks related to stocking replenishing and cleaning the bar area
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area including tables chairs floors and walkways
- Wash and polish glasses and other serving equipment
- Communicate with bartenders and wait staff to ensure and maintain guest satisfaction
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be available any time on the weekends
- At least one year of experience as Barback preferably in a boutique hotel or resort environment
- Previous customer service experience strongly preferred
- Must be able to read write and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with guests and coworkers
- Knowledge of wine and liquor preferred
- Active food handlers certificate is preferred
