Job Summary

This is a Temporary position.
Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.

The City of Thompson invites qualified applicants to submit a resume for consideration for the Temp position of Fitness Area Attendant for the Thompson Regional Community Centre (TRCC).

This role may require lifting equipment or cleaning materials (up to approx.50lbs). This role involves standing walking and physical activity for extended periods.

This position is responsible for maintaininga clean safe and welcoming environment in the facilitys fitness area and play structure zone. This includes routine cleaning equipment checksmonitoringuser conduct and ensuring that only authorized users are accessing the role involves routine safety checks of the equipment and report any concerns or issues

Candidates will be enthusiastic and promote a positive image of our facilities and qualifications include: grade 12 or equivalent excellent communication and interpersonal skills ability to work independently and as a part of a team and a basic knowledge of fitness equipment and facility include evenings and weekends and there are 20 hours per week.
