Major Responsibilities Conduct and interpret formal and informal assessments of students including but not limited to diagnostic psychological educational transition and observations for initial eligibility reevaluations manifestation determination and other meetings as determined by the Special Education administrator. Write diagnostic psychological educational transition and provide recommendations for consideration at initial eligibility reevaluations manifestation determination and other meetings as assigned by the Special Education administrator. Coordinate with other service providers in order to efficiently complete all initial and reevaluation assessment batteries in a timely manner to ensure compliance with all state and federal lawsguidelines and regulations are met to ensure compliance Work collaboratively with parents school staff and other related service providers in identifyingdocumenting and assisting to meet the educational vocational and social / emotional needs of students. Collaborate with outside community based service providers and make referrals to these agencies as appropriate. Attend and participate in team meetings to report findings and assist in making recommendations for student services and IEP implementation. Serve on intervention teams including but not limited to Crisis Intervention Teams. Provide consultation and technical assistance to school staff concerning mental health behavioral and educational issues. May provide clinical services to students that addresses social and emotional needs crisis management with appropriate communication with school staff parents and other community based medical providers. Maintain confidentiality with regard to student issues and interactions while sharing information with appropriate individuals as authorized. Other duties as assigned by Special Education Administrator.
