Homewood Suites Carmelof Schahet Hotels is currently seeking a Director of Sales to join our growing Sales team!
Job Summary
You will be managing the development and implementation of the total sales effort of the hotel including securing new accounts maintaining existing accounts supervising activities of sales personnel and executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize the profitability for the hotel while. The right candidate will have a track record of hitting goals and be enthusiastic about coaching and leading others. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing a team of salespeople and supporting our customers.

Responsibilities
Coach sales team on proper closing techniques through training and active participation and lead profitability of your teams
Lead all showroom activities and maintain an experienced level of hotel
Assist the GM in the developmentof the hotel-level business plan to include input on sales goals and plans that support the sales strategies of the company
Hire motivate and monitor the performance of all sales personnel
Conduct daily and weekly sales training meetings for Sales and Product Specialists
Mentor new and experienced sales reps on standard methodologies for improving performance
Ensure proper follow up of all prospective buyers by developing implementing and monitoring a CRM system
Establish delivery procedures and monitor performance and execution
Guarantee delivery includes an introduction to the service department and scheduling of the first service appointment
Achieve forecasted goals and objectives for dealership and OEM sales gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis
Qualifications
BS/BA Degree in marketing or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years experience in sales or marketing
Minimum 2 years in a hotel sales program
Supervisory and managerial experience preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to motivate and manage others
