Department and/or College Description
The(OPDE) program is a collaboration between the Teaching Learning and Leadership Department and Stout Online at UW-Stout. The OPDE program offersfully online graduate level professional development courses and certificate programs designed for working adults and educatorsseekingto advance their careers in areas such as Instructional Design Mathematics Instruction and Reading Instruction. Many OPDE courses can be applied towards teaching license renewal or used as electives for UW-Stout degree programs. Qualifications
Minimal/Required Qualifications:
Doctoratein relevant field ofcourse(s)orMasters Degreein relevant field 5 years of relevant professional experience
Professional experience in areas of expertise (Instructional Design MathematicsSpecialist ReadingTeacher Reading Specialist etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience teaching orfacilitatingonline courses for adult learners
Proficiencyin online learning management systems (Canvas etc.)
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications
Strong written and interpersonal skills
Fluency in oral and written English communication
