Job Summary

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill theirBusiness Analystwith a strong MDM background position! This is a6 monthcontract with potential to extendopportunity and will beremote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What Youll Be Doing:

Business & Stakeholder Alignment

Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather detailed business and data requirements
Understand vendor and distributor data models and pain points
Identify gaps in current data structures and reporting capabilities
Provide thought leadership to internal and external clients

Data & Technical Translation

Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements for Data Engineering
Define scalable data structures and enterprise-ready solutions
Document field-level data rules transformations and governance standards
Validate technical builds using SQL where needed

Quality & Governance

Perform QA during and after implementation
Ensure distributor/vendor data meets accuracy and integrity standards
Identify root causes of data issues and propose process improvements

Agile & Product Support

Groom and prioritize backlogs with Product Owners
Write detailed user stories with acceptance criteria
Facilitate scrum ceremonies (stand-ups backlog refinement sprint reviews)
Ensure deliverables meet timeline and quality standards

What Youll Need to Have:

Experience

35 years as a Business Analyst (client-facing)
Experience working on data analytics or MDM initiatives
2 years in Agile / SAFe environments
Experience supporting vendor or enterprise data domains

Technical Skillset

Strong SQL skills (data validation query writing)
Experience working with AWS data tools (Redshift S3 Lambda Glue exposure is sufficient)
Understanding of data modeling and data governance best practices
Ability to work comfortably with Data Engineers

Process & Delivery Skillset

Experience writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
Backlog grooming and prioritization experience
QA/UAT coordination experience
Strong documentation discipline

Soft Skills

Exceptional communication at executive and technical levels
Ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Highly proactive and organized
Strong problem-solving mindset
Comfortable operating autonomously in ambiguous environments

Pay Range:$45-$50/hr
