Job Summary

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is searching for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join our team in La Vergne. The person in this role provides strategic business analysis to key stakeholders and customers works closely with business units to gain in-depth understanding of business strategy processes services and the context in which the business operates. They also gather and translate business requirements into software solutions for the entire cycle of software development and implementation; identify create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level. Other responsibilities include researching analyzing documenting and resolving related internal and external issues with customers besides facilitating project meetings and presentations to diverse audiences. Additionally they train other IT associates for secondary application support as well as business unit associates for primary customer support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Computer Science OR 4 years Analyst experience (Business Systems Process or Technical)
  • 6 years work experience in developing business requirements and processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large scale order management systems
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials
  • Experience with EDI
  • Writing and running SQL queries
  • Experience with mainframe modernization
  • Experience with Confluence
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Experience with Azure DevOps/Jira
  • Experience in creating flow diagrams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed business systems and processes to identify and implement improvements and opportunities for Order Entry Order Processing fulfillment billing invoicing finance functions like General Ledger Accounts Receivable and Payables EDI transactions and ERP integrations.
  • Support migration to and API platforms.
  • Translates business requirements into technical requirements including scope definition detail and process flows for use by the development team ensuring critical business rules and billing logic are preserved.
  • Creates user stories/uses cases process & data flows and scenarios to clearly communicate a set of functional requirements.
  • Writes functional specifications using a variety of tools including word processing spreadsheets and drawings.
  • Collaborates closely with developers to implement requirements.
  • Assists with developing QA test plans for accuracy and completeness. 
  • Assists in QA testing as needed ensuring that the business requirements defined in the analysis phase are met by the new or changed information system.
  • Performs gap analysis of assigned functional specs prototype and pre-production systems. 
  • Ensures a smooth implementation of functionality into the production environment.
  • Support integrations between OMS Billing EDI and ERP.
  • Help ensure invoice accuracy and financial data integrity.
  • Researches analyzes documents and resolves related internal and external issues with customers. 
  • Trains other IT associates for secondary application support as well as business unit associates for primary customer support.
  • Maintains current knowledge of customer needs and strategies and acts as liaison between users stakeholders and development staff.
  • Provides leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulates ideas and viewpoints to senior management peers and others; identifies and initiates projects; manages resources; and drives the resolution of issues.
  • Creates and maintains issue logs meeting minutes meeting schedules project summaries and updates.

Hiring Salary Range: $84.895k - $107.643k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to  the applicants education experience knowledge skills and abilities geographic location as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
