Axiom Staffing Group is recruiting a Finance Analyst for a well-known manufacturing company in Middletown VA. This on-site role focuses on cost accounting variance analysis and financial reporting to support manufacturing operations and ensure accurate standard costs and inventory valuation.

Key Responsibilities:

Support monthly close activities including inventory COGS variances and reconciliations
Review and maintain standard costs (BOMs labor routings overhead rates)
Analyze manufacturing variances and partner with operations on corrective actions
Support standard cost rolls and cost updates in SAP
Ensure accurate inventory valuation and support cycle counts
Prepare cost spend scrap and variance reporting
Assist with forecasts AOP planning and business reviews
Drive continuous improvement and maintain SOX and internal control compliance
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm $35.00-$50.00/hr depending on experience

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
4 years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong cost accounting and variance analysis experience
Advanced Excel required; SAP experience preferred
Strong analytical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
