SPINs History: SPIN is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1970 to provide the highest quality services to people of all ages with autism and intellectual/developmental disability. SPIN is also a leading provider of inclusive early childhood education. We believe that everyone deserves to achieve to their fullest potential and to live a life of possibilities. We develop each persons strengths integrate them into the community and create a culture of inclusion and hope. We serve over 3500 people every year in Southeastern Pennsylvania and the Lehigh Valley
SPINs Mission:To provide the highest quality people-first services and supports for children and adults with intellectual developmental and autism spectrum disabilities so that each may achieve and enjoy a life of possibilities.
SPIN is currently accepting internship opportunities in the following areas:
- Education
- Early Childhood Education & Special Education
- Finance
- Accounting
- Marketing
- Information Technology
- Human Resources
Our commitment to you:
- Mentorship
- Provide on the job instruction
- Offer 60 hours of internship experience (unpaid)
Required
- Must Attend MAST
- Minimum grade point average 3.0
- No more than 10 absences
- Drivers License or Photo ID
- Vaccination against Covid
- Physical/PPD
- Social Security Card
- A letter of Recommendation
- FBI Clearances (CS department)
- Child Abuse Clearances (CS department)
- NSOR Application (CS Department)
