Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Month end closing
- Ensure timely and accurate record of financial information and provide analysis of variance to LBE and Plan supporting both SG and MY CoreDx division for both balance sheet and P&L.
- Reporting inventory split report to Area Finance
- Performs CPRR reconciliation on a quarterly basis
- Weekly sales reporting to the commercial team
- Regular review of Balance Sheet to ensure timeliness and accuracy of record
- Coordinate with CFS/ shared services on accounting entries required
- Prepare journals for month end closing
- Support in driving GMI projects such as FOC reduction and CPRR efficiency
Annual Costing Process
- Supporting loading of transfer prices in system
Other Duties
- Improvement projects
- Loading of customer prices (per contract)
- Mapping of customer data (MDM)
- Act as the first line of approval for Finance
- Ad hoc analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis / business partnering with strong financial understanding and modeling skills
- Experience in Audit or Big Four would be advantageous
- Able to translate strategic goals and initiatives into effective financial interpretation to support and delivery of goals and initiatives.
- Integration and change management skills and hands on experience preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills experience in interfacing between functional departments
- Good understanding and experience of business processes in a global organization
- Analytical thinking and ability to simplify complex processes to improve efficiency
- Continuous improvement mindset to look for efficiencies.
