Job Summary
Job Description: Transcriptionist at Elevance Health
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately transcribe medical documents patient records and other healthcare-related materials.
- Ensure all transcribed documents are error-free and adhere to company standards and guidelines.
- Work closely with healthcare providers to clarify any unclear dictations or terminology.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all transcribed information.
- Update and maintain transcription databases and records.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Transcriptionist preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent typing skills and proficiency in grammar punctuation and spelling.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transcribing medical documents.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary Range: $115000 - $125000
