About the role Mō te tūranga mahi

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Operations Officer to join our Corporate & Finance group. Working with our friendly and supportive Finance team this is a great chance to broaden your technical skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Finance team and working flexibly to assist with core activities.
  • Processing of accounts payable invoices and creating customer invoices.
  • Managing the bank and cash reconciliations.
  • Continuous development of the finance operations including business improvement and process change initiatives.

This is a Wellington based role.

The appointing salary range for this role is $67442 - $75000 depending on skills and experience. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.

About you Mōu

Youll bring:

  • A good understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes gained from experience in a similar role.
  • 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience with some Accounts Receivable experience.
  • A proactive positive and self-motivated approach you will be able to demonstrate initiative.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and an interest in refining processes and procedures.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly organised way of working and able to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly pick up new systems confident to use multiple systems at once and good technical skills with proficiency in MS Office packages particularly Excel.
