Job Summary

We are on the lookout for someone who is passionate about supporting our community and delivering a top-notch service.

You will be joining a fun engaged and energised team who are dedicated to building stronger more connected communities in Whanganui. Were passionate about empowering individuals and groups to make a positive difference in their neighbourhoods.

Were seeking a dynamic and process-focused individual to join our team as a Community Development Support Officer. As a key member of our team youll help ensure our housing projects run smoothly our advisory groups are well-supported and our community development initiatives have the coordination they need to succeed.

To be successful in this role youll be someone who has:

  • Strong administration and coordination skills
  • Proven experience in community development community engagement or a related field
  • Excellent communication facilitation and organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
