Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Responsible for orchestrating control production process needs including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product tools or equipment. Ensure safe working conditions. Provide expertise and problem solving on the processes specific to Medical Ultrasound devices: lamination dicing grinding and assembly steps for Phoenix Manufacturing product lines. Develop and deploy new process steps using experimental campaigns and/or collaboration with internal experts equipment suppliers and/or academic partners. Conduct monitoring activities and daily follow-up of product lines with focus on Dicing Manufacturing Processes. Monitor non-conformities and yield issues. Orchestrate problem solving plans including: investigation of root causes implementation of countermeasures and monitoring of impact on product quality (Lean-6 sigma toolbox). Report action plan and obtained results. Guide continuous improvement activities to improve: productivity of dicing and grinding processes (faster better cheaper) ergonomics and process flow using Lean-6 sigma toolbox. Set up and improve product line while ensuring standard application and homogeneity of protocols. Ensure knowledge capitalization and knowledge sharing between product lines. Improve training documentation associated with Dicing Manufacturing Processes.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering or related. Two (2) years of experience in manufacturing production processes or a combination thereof. Work experience to include: Transducer and Probe Manufacturing including the following prototyping processes: micro-substrate cutting dicing grinding processes interconnection micro-assembly and electro-acoustic measurements; Using dicing and grinding machinery to achieve optimal thruput with zero misses; Machine-tool Programming to achieve optimal settings; and Optimization of Equipment and Processes using: 6S (DMAIC) Lean methodologies KANBAN Kaizen and Root Cause Analysis tool suite (including Fish bone and 5WHYs).
