Senior Logistics Engineer

• Planing coordinating and managing the lifecycle logistics for DoD communicationsystem components.
• Overseeing acquisition distribution inventory control and disposal while ensuring compliance with DoD logistics regulations

• Bachelor of science in logistics supply chain business or related discipline (ABET/CAE) Alternative: Associateand four plus years experience or six years experience
• Active DoD topsecret (or higher)
• Three years in journeymanlevel logistics with at least one year directly supporting DoD communication systems
• CSLP CPL APICS CPIM or equivalent

• Expertise in DoD supplychain policies (DFARS J&A MILSTRIP)
• Proficiency with logistics software (SAP MM/WM Oracle SCM Maximo)
• Ability to develop and maintain accurate inventory records perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Experience planning transportation routes managing warehousing and coordinating with overseas depots
• Strong analytical skills for costanalysis demand forecasting and risk assessment
• Excellent stakeholder communication; ability to brief senior logistics officers

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY

• Domestic travel: Up to10% of the year (2weeks)
• International travel: <5% of the year only when required for overseas coordination and clearance approval
