Resideo is hiring an Area Sales Representative to drive growth across Portugal.

In this role you will take ownership of selling our full portfolioincluding HVAC hydronic heating and potable water solutionsto professional distributors and wholesalers throughout the country.

Were looking for someone who thrives in the field building strong relationships with existing partners while winning new business uncovering crossselling opportunities across our Water and Air product lines and developing revenue streams with installers.

This role requires frequent travel across Portugal to maintain close customer engagement and accelerate market expansion. You will work in technical product sales capable of operating autonomously with the ability to plan prioritise and execute activities aligned to commercial objectives. Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Maintain and develop long term relationships with existing customers through face-to-face visits calls and emails
  • Identify and visit potential customers to secure new business
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales calculations negotiate agreements and issue special pricing documentation
  • Understand and interpret customer requirements to recommend suitable solutions
  • Segment accounts and create area plans to focus on customers with strong growth potential
  • Gather market intelligence and provide insights on customer behaviour and buying trends
  • Represent Resideo at trade shows events and customer presentations
  • Support new product launches and marketing campaigns
  • Partner with training and field support engineers to deliver customer training and after sales support
  • Record meetings activities and opportunities in the CRM system
  • Ensure all CRM data is accurate and consistently maintained
  • Review your sales performance to meet or exceed targets
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the sales team and with technical experts as needed
  • Combine technical knowledge with strong commercial skills
  • Use your sales expense budget effectively to maximise opportunities in your territory

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Experience selling technical products and achieving sales targets
  • Excellent relationship building and account management skills
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of independence planning and executing actions aligned to commercial priorities
  • Motivation to spend most of your time in the field with our customers
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility with customers
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English
