Job Description:
A Senior Maintenance Fitter (Mechanical)oversees and performs complex mechanical maintenance tasks ensuring equipment reliability and optimal performance.They diagnose and troubleshoot issues implement preventative maintenance and may lead teams providing technical guidance and ensuring safety compliance.
Responsibilities of a Senior Maintenance Fitter (Mechanical):
- Troubleshooting and Repair:Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues replacing worn or damaged parts and making necessary repairs.
- Preventative Maintenance:Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules ensuring equipment longevity and optimal performance.
- Equipment Installation and Maintenance:Install assemble and maintain a variety of mechanical equipment and systems ensuring precision and quality standards.
- Technical Expertise:Apply knowledge of mechanical principles hydraulics pneumatics and other related technologies to perform maintenance tasks.
- Team Leadership:Mentor and support junior fitters providing technical guidance and ensuring best practices are followed.
- Safety Compliance:Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures and implement safety measures to protect themselves and others.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including repairs inspections and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Collaboration:Work with engineers project managers and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure optimal system performance
