The ideal candidate will have a passion for building analytical models and using their financial and business acumen to help drive the business forward.
They will partner with commercial teams and support long-term growth by providing insightful ad-hoc analysis to build product selection supporting negotiations and building business cases to assess new opportunities or investments.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity is analytical detail oriented and will possess the ability to work well with cross-functional teams across Amazon.

- Strong business case modeling skills including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Key job responsibilities
- Financial controllership understanding actuals challenging variances and tracking action plans to bring financial results back to plan when necessary and possible;
- Financial modeling providing analytical support and validating financial and operational results of the business;
- Ensuring a high level of financial controls are followed maintaining data integrity;
- Active business partner co-leading the business teams for growth and profitability;
- Providing accurate and insightful financial reports;
- Finding opportunities to use global standards and transfer repetitive tasks to central teams.

- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- 3 YOE in tax finance or a related analytical field.
- 3 YOE in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- 3 YOE in identifying leading and executing opportunities to improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
- 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
- 3 YOE with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
