Job Expectations:
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently accurately and in a timely manner and without constant supervision
- Support individual students in a one on one situation
- Demonstrate flexibility confidentiality and professionalism
- Promote a positive learning environment for students while maintaining discipline when needed
- Provide behavioral and academic support in both regular and special education classrooms with poise and confidence
- Maintain and operate a variety of assistive technology
- Accept tasks and responsibilities willingly and pleasantly from both teachers and/or case managers
- Maintain above average attendance including attendance to necessary in-service and staff trainings/meetings
- Administer and monitor regular classroom testing and statewide testing
- Assist with direct observation/data collection and assessment for the RTI process
- Facilitate re-teaching and extra instruction in a wide variety of courses including math English social studies science and foreign language
