The Inclusion Assistant provides administrative and project support and works collaboratively with the Inclusion team on firmwide inclusion initiatives and programs coordinates schedules and meetings and maintains electronic and paper files related to inclusion data communications and documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative tasks for Inclusion Team.

  • Coordinate schedules meetings and logistics related to Inclusion programming and events as well as video conferences and meetings.

  • Work with Inclusion team to coordinate and analyze data for client requests client and external organizational surveys and other initiatives as needed.

  • Arrange attendance at national regional and local bar association events conferences and programs including registration virtual attendance details travel arrangements and coordinating any necessary marketing information or collateral.

  • Track and coordinate expense reporting and processing by requesting payments and reimbursements; processing invoices registrations and sponsorship requests; and other budget related tasks for Inclusion Team.

  • Prepare agenda for all Inclusion Committee meetings. Schedule attend and record minutes for each meeting.

  • Gather and organize news and research related to Inclusion in the legal profession.

  • Maintain electronic files and paper records for Diversity related documents and communications.

  • Collaborate with the Inclusion Team to update and maintain the intranet page including events resources links and other key content.

  • Perform other tasks as needed to support the implementation of the firmwide Inclusion Strategy.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to perform a range of activities related to implementing diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

  • Must have the ability to develop and document operational procedures.

  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills.

  • Outstanding customer service skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients attorneys and business professionals at all levels while working collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a hybrid remote and in-office environments.

  • Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook Word Excel and Power Point).

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or a combination of training education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a related role or part of an Inclusion team.

  • Experience organizing and synthesizing complex information and data.

  • Experience in a law firm or professional services industry preferred.
