Job Summary
Role: Production Coordinator
Location: Onsite in San Jose 4 to 5 hours daily part time work - 95131
Duration: 1 years
Team this role is all about inventory shipping and PO tracking. They currently use NetSuite but any erp is ok. Person just would need to have been a coordinator in similar capacity ideally with a manufacturing environment.
Job Overview
Operations / Customer PO handling Shipping Processing Production Inventory Tracking & Control.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the production workflow for company products.
- Enter customer purchase orders (PO) into the ERP system and acknowledge receipt to customers.
- Monitor and track the status of manufacturing WIP and finished output schedules.
- Manage and schedule shipments based on customer POs payments and inventory level.
- Plan and prioritize shipments to optimize performance and minimize delays.
- Identify and resolve issues related to inventory and shipments.
- Address customer complaints regarding shipments.
- Prepare and report on status and performance metrics.
- Keep all manufacturing data organized.
- Collaborate with production planning quality control sales departments and other staff.
Requirements
- 4 to 5 hours daily parttime work.
- BS degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of production control and supply chain management principle.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities across teams.
