Duration: 6 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: Monday Friday 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: Up to $24 per hour
Work Setting: 100% Onsite
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care assist with clinical procedures and help maintain efficient daily operations. This role requires strong clinical skills excellent communication and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare staff.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and room patients
Take and document vital signs
Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture
Administer vaccines and perform point-of-care (POC) testing
Conduct EKGs
Schedule appointments and manage phone communications
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Provide clinical and administrative support as needed
Foster positive and collaborative relationships with team members
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
23 years of overall experience preferred
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
EMR experience required
Front and back-office experience required
EKG experience required
Current BLS or CPR certification
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
Passion for health education and community outreach
