Location -Hackensack NJ
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Interventional Radiology CWR
Schedule: 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:30 AM 6:00 PM)
Position Summary
The Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse delivers patient-centered nursing care grounded in the most current evidence-based practices and standards. This role ensures the safe and effective delivery of care for patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures across IR CT and Ultrasound settings.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe evidence-based nursing care in the IR setting
Assist with IR procedures performed in:
Interventional Radiology
CT Scan
Ultrasound
Administer medications using bar-scanning and electronic documentation systems
Perform continuous patient monitoring including:
Titration of drips
Management of ventilated patients
Conscious sedation monitoring
Maintain real-time electronic documentation of:
Assessments
Plan of care
Interventions
Evaluation of care
Communicate patient status and care plans with multidisciplinary teams
Provide patient and family-centered education
Coordinate safe discharge planning and care transitions
Required Qualifications
ASN required (BSN preferred)
Minimum 6 months of relevant nursing experience
23 years Interventional Radiology experience required
Acute care experience
Experience titrating drips
Experience managing ventilated patients
Conscious sedation experience
Required Certifications & Licensure
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)
Active NJ State RN License or Multi-State Compact License
