The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Research Assistant position within the Department of Psychiatrys Center for Autism and the Developing Brain (CADB) located in White Plains NY. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator and senior research staff the Research Assistant will support the implementation and coordination of clinical research studies including participant recruitment data collection and research record management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in recruiting subjects for research studies based on study recruitment criteria
- Prepares and maintains paper and electronic research and clinical records
- Assists in clinical research assessments using specialized interviews and psychological assessment measures under supervision of senior research staff
- Enters data in various databases including test scores demographics and other research records
- Performs other duties assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in psychology or a related field or a combination of education and clinical research experience and training equivalent to a bachelors degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least (1) year of experience with autism or with children and families with developmental disabilities or mental health issues preferred.
- At least (1) year of clinical research experience preferred.
