Senior Security Analyst Pay Range : $97580.00 - $126795.00

Were hiring a Senior Security Analyst to help defend critical infrastructuresystems that cannot this role youll work on real high-impact security threats across both IT and cloud environments supporting the protection of the U.S. power grid. This is hands-on work with real ownership real consequences and a mission that matters.
Youll be part of a collaborative Cyber Security team responsible for security event and incident management cloud security and enterprise log monitoring. Day to day youll investigate security events support and enhance logging solutions onboard systems and applications and help deploy and maintain cloud security tools such as CASB. This role also participates in an on-call rotation and works closely with internal teams across the organization.
The ideal candidate is team-oriented adaptable and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to manage multiple priorities communicate effectively at all levels and take ownership of protecting critical systems. This is a strong opportunity to collaborate with industry peers and contribute directly to the security of national infrastructure.
What Youll Do
- Lead security event and incident response efforts across the enterprise
- Act as an escalation point for complex or high-impact security threats
- Own and optimize enterprise logging and cloud security solutions
- Drive improvements in cloud security tooling and processes including CASB
- Partner with internal teams to assess and address security concerns including investigations assessments and reporting findings to leadership
- Support and enforce internal security controls and external compliance requirements
- Review and assess security processes and controls recommending improvements where needed
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on CIP and other control-based security requirements
- Mentor junior analysts and support ongoing team development
- Collaborate closely with IT architecture and business leaders on security initiatives
- Participate as an active member of the Cyber Incident Response Team
- Represent the Cyber Security team in industry forums as needed
- Assist with reporting KPIs and KRIs to leadership
- Support the development and delivery of security awareness training
- Administer core security services (SIEM EDR firewall access VPN IDS/IPS MFA)
- Participate in the cyber on-call rotation
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience
Experience Requirements:
- Six (6) years of relevant IT experience
- Two (2) years of security-related experience
Required:
- Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively with a variety of technical staff and management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexibility and the ability to function with constantly changing and multiple priorities
- Excellent organizational skills
- General understanding of industry compliance requirements
- Understanding of and compliance with SPP Policies and Procedures
Preferred:
- In-Depth knowledge of the NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Standards
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Prisma Splunk and CrowdStrike
- Certifications such as SSCP CAP and Security preferred
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Position Type Location and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time hybrid on-site role based in Little Rock Arkansas. The standard schedule is MondayFriday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with occasional extended hours as needed. This position participates in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Travel Requirement:
This position requires minimal travel (approximately 10%).
