Successful candidates may be starting this role in the ApplyFlexible work hours and a 37.5-hour work weekAnnual salary and potential for an annual bonusGenerous employer paid extended benefits including a Registered Pension Plan with matching contributionsAbove average vacation days wellness days and holidaysOpportunities for professional development and career growthA talented diverse and inclusive team doing transformative work on a national scaleRemote and hybrid work opportunities availableWhat You Will DoOversee the coordination of events including conferences seminars dinnersandtraining sessions ensuring seamless collaboration withother business lines manage internal and external event communications including promotional venues obtain quotes and conduct sitevisits;managingvendors and budget and ensuresit is andaccurateevent files such as exhibitor databasescontractand financial -ordinatesthe delivery of materials to support to other members of event planning on events which include obstaclesencounteredand opportunities for excellent client service throughout the client or potential client available to solve problems and/or suggest alternatives -site duringeventsas You ArePost-secondary education inin Business MarketingHospitalityora related of two (2) years ofrecentexperience coordinating interpersonal and teamwork skillsOutstanding oral and written communication capabilities inEnglish;French a strong organizationaland follow-through skills with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritizemultiple events and experience workingin an Indigenous Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook).Must have an understanding awareness and appreciation of Indigenous culture and toparticipatein ongoing education and training for the role including Indigenous Cultural to ExpectFMB aims to keep the recruitment process as open as possible.
