Job Description:

A Brief Overview

The Radiologic Technologist Coordinator oversees the scheduling and coordination of diagnostic imaging procedures ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with departmental protocols. Manages radiology staff schedules and assists in maintaining imaging equipment.

What you will do

  • Performs imaging studies on patients as ordered.
  • Manage radiology staff schedules to maintain consistent and efficient workflow.
  • Coordinate and work with community wide scheduling to schedule diagnostic imaging procedures to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
  • Assist in maintaining radiology equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Monitor inventory of radiology supplies and order as necessary.
  • Implement and oversee adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and Diagnostic Imaging leaders to optimize patient care and imaging services.


Qualifications

  • Associates Degree (AA) Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field Required
  • Bachelors Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field Preferred
  • 1-3 years Experience coordinating radiology services Preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist Required

Qualifications:

Assist Diagnostic Imaging manager with staff schedules and timecard maintenance. Assist community wide scheduling with patient schedules for imaging procedures as needed.
Performs imaging procedures on patients on a regular basis.
