This positionis responsible fordaily operation maintenance and repair of assigned Dining and Centers buildings including food service equipment repair custodial equipment repair preventative maintenance building maintenance inspections plumbing electrical HVAC and carpentry repairs.This position will interact with students faculty diningfacilitiesand other campus staff.This position isto follow safe work practices follow industry standards for maintenance/repairs have goodcommunicationand practiceaccuraterecord keeping skills.This position willservicePrice Commons North Point dining and Williams Stadium concession areas.This position will back up Memorial Student Center.Employee shift is 7:00am 3:30 pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtime as directed.This position will beto respond to a 24-hour maintenance phone on a rotation with other staff.
Facilities Management iscomprisedof Building Maintenance and Grounds Custodial Services Heating Plant Administration and Facilities Planning and Engineering.The campus iscomprisedof2.4 million square feeton approximately135 acresincluding 55 buildings of which 22 are academic/research 12 support services and 21 for university housing.The campus has its own utilities of steam chilled waterdataand electricity.
Minimum starting salary of$24/hour.A six-month probationary period is required.

Employeemust be able to work in partially lit spaces dusty and/or dirty spaces on raised platforms/ladders andinextreme temperatures on occasion
