Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Job Title: Oracle DBA Database Administrator
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage maintain and optimize Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in installation configuration performance tuning backup & recovery and high availability setups for mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install configure and upgrade Oracle databases (11g / 12c / 19c)
Monitor database performance and implement performance tuning
Manage Backup & Recovery strategies using RMAN
Implement and maintain High Availability solutions (RAC Data Guard)
Perform database patching migration and upgrades
Ensure database security user access management and compliance
Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis
Conduct database health checks and capacity planning
Work closely with application and infrastructure teams
Required Skills:
Strong experience with Oracle 11g / 12c / 19c
Hands-on experience with RMAN RAC and Data Guard
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
Knowledge of Shell scripting
Strong database performance tuning skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
Experience with Cloud platforms (OCI / AWS / Azure)
Experience in Banking / Telecom / Enterprise environments
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
