We are currently seeking Ticketing Agents to join our team at the Cochin Airport India.
Contract Details:
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Job Description:
As a Ticketing Agent you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to passengers and ensuring the efficient processing of ticket sales and reservations. Your main duties will include:
- Greeting and assisting passengers with their travel needs
- Selling and issuing tickets for domestic and international flights
- Handling reservations changes and cancellations
- Providing information on flight schedules fares and baggage allowances
- Assisting with check-in and boarding processes
- Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Following all safety and security procedures as per company policies
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
- Keeping up-to-date with airline policies and procedures
- Providing support to other ground staff as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferably in the airline industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Fluency in English and Hindi both written and spoken
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary airport security clearances
