Overview: Our client is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical sourcing and fulfilment organisation serving an international partner customer base. As part of their continued expansion they are seeking to add an experienced professional to their Barbados-based team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the international business sector and will be responsible for overseeing the companys accounting operations financial reporting tax management and broader statutory compliance requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage daytoday accounting operations including accounts payable (AP) accounts receivable (AR) and account reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements accompanied by meaningful financial analysis.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Support clients with international and crossborder transactions ensuring adherence to applicable accounting and tax standards.
- Design enhance and implement tools and processes to improve efficiency and streamline workflows.
- Analyse financial and operational data to ensure accuracy consistency and completeness.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field; CPA or ACCA certification preferred.
- 35 years of experience in international or crossborder accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and relevant tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting and ERP software systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong problemsolving abilities.
