What youll do
In this role youll be at the heart of strengthening assurance governance and compliance across a complex and diverse organisation. Your work will ensure that safety quality and risk frameworks are not only compliant but meaningful practical and embedded in everyday practice.
Working with leaders and operational teams across the organisation you will provide strategic advice lead and deliver audit activities and help embed a culture of continuous improvement that strengthens outcomes for AnglicareSA and the services we provide to South Australians in need.
Youll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
- Leading and coordinating the Internal Audit Program and annual audit schedule across AnglicareSA including audit planning delivery and reporting
- Conducting risk-based audits and preparing teams for external accreditation
- Maintaining audit registers and ensuring timely accurate reporting
- Supporting complex complaints appeals and strategic risk reviews
- Using root cause analysis to drive learning and prevent recurrence of issues
- Partnering with leaders to strengthen governance compliance and assurance capability
What youll bring
To thrive in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Business Law Risk Management or related field
- Demonstrated experience conducting internal audits and assessing risk
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data
- High-level written communication skills including professional report writing
- Ability to build productive relationships and influence at all organisational levels
We would also love you to have:
- Internal Auditor qualification or working towards certification
- Experience in community services health aged care or another regulated sector
- Confidence mentoring coaching and guiding others in compliance best practice
