The Food Service Worker is responsible for food preparation cooking cleaning stocking organizing and providing excellent customer service.


The Experience Youll Create:


  • Food Preparation : Assisting with food preparation such as creating fruit cups maintaining the salad bar stocking food supplies etc.
  • Sales Service : Engage with and provide superior service to all customers. Answer customers questions and provide information on procedures or policies. Communicate with customers regarding orders comments and complaints.
  • Teamwork : Contribute to a positive team environment. Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments. Identify alarms or changes in morale and performance. Maintain calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to set a positive example for the team.
  • Safety & Sanitation : Follow operational policies and procedures. Follow health safety and sanitation guidelines. Clean sanitize and organize work areas utensils and equipment. Clean service and seating areas. Scrub and polish counters tables and other equipment. Perform other duties such as sweeping mopping and washing dishes to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.

Ingredients for Thriving:


  • 1 year of food service experience required. Strong food prep skills preferred.
  • Food/Beverage Production Knowledge of techniques and equipment for preparing serving storing and handling food and beverage products.
  • Mathematics Ability to add and subtract charging appropriately and distributing change to customers.
  • Suggestive Selling or Influencing Others Suggesting others to buy merchandise/goods or to otherwise change their minds or actions.
  • Customer Service Working with the public. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services.
