Job Summary
LCRA is looking for a Substation Electrician to join our team! As a part of our maintenance team you will maintain the critical infrastructure of the Georgetown District including job sites in Cedar Park Georgetown Lakeway and Leander. Were looking for a self-motivated and energetic person to perform electrical work in high voltage substations including maintenance inspection repair testing adjusting installation and /or removal of transmission distribution equipment. You will work with a skilled team and receive valuable training through on-the-job experiences as well as set training curriculum. You will be trusted to: - Install maintain remove inspect test and repair electric motors generators electrical circuit breakers condensers transformers switches communication systems and electrical and electronic control equipment and wiring. |
You qualify with: - One or more years of experience in maintenance and/or construction of electrical power transmission distribution substation and control equipment and/or other types of electrical equipment including experience reading blueprints. |
