About the Role
Weareseeking expressions of interestfromexperiencedcontingentprofessionals whoareinterested in ad-hocshort-termor contract-based contract engagements.
These opportunities involve working alongsidetheBDO Consulting team in Sydney to support the delivery of a range of client projects. Engagements may vary in duration scope and intensity depending on client needs and may require onsite presence across Sydney.
This opportunity is suited to professionals who enjoy the flexibility of contingent work are confident operating in new environments and can quickly add value within established delivery teams.
We are particularly interested in contingent specialists with experience in the following roles:
- PMO Director
- PMOManager
- PMO Coordinator
- ProgramDirector
- Project Manager
- Change Manager
- Master Scheduler
- Program Risk Manager
- Business Analyst
What Youll Be Doing
Depending on the engagement responsibilities may include:
- Contributing as a contract specialist within BDO-led advisory project teams supporting delivery from design through to implementation
- Facilitating discussions and workshops with senior leaders to support alignment across vision people process and technology
- Supporting scoping activities work planning and proposal development in collaboration with BDO teams
- Applying structured project and program management approaches to drive initiatives from inception through to close
- Bringing fresh thinking and practical solutions to client challenges drawing on your professional and sector experience
About You
Were looking to connect with independent professionals and contractors who bring depth of experience and can integrate quickly into client and consulting environments.
Ideally you will have:
- Strong experience across PMO Program or Project Management or significant consulting experience on transformation initiatives
- Confidence working with senior leaders and executives in a client-facing capacity
- The ability to influence collaborate and deliver outcomes within timebound engagements
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- The flexibility to work in an agile fastmoving consulting environment
- Availability to travel within Sydney for onsite project work
- Government sector experience (preferred)
