Senior Consultant Program Transformation Risk

Our Program / Transformation Risk team advises clients on managing the risks of delivering large-scale technology programs. We provide an independent view on program and technology risks supporting clients to improve practices and to successfully deliver complex transformations. We are seeking a Senior Consultant with Program / Transformation risk management experience to work closely with clients undertaking large-scale technology-enabled transformations.

Your Opportunity

As a key member of KPMGs Enterprise Program / Transformation Risk team you will support Boards and Executive Management to help them navigate their technology transformation risks. Our client base includes mid-market organisations across utilities education providers healthcare providers infrastructure financial services not-for-profits as well as Government and Local Government. Our team helps clients manage risks across portfolio program and project management. As a Senior Consultant you will:

• Support clients to manage risks across portfolio program and project management ensuring that technology risks are addressed at every level of organisational change and delivery. This includes any digital transformation the client is undertaking such as transitions to cloud CRM ERP and other major technology initiatives.
• Be a part of a leading team that advises high profile clients with operational and strategic technology-based initiatives focusing on risk management governance and reviews of processes and controls.
• Apply your understanding of key program management capabilities and frameworks (both waterfall and agile) across capabilities such as benefit management change management and risk and issue management to help clients strengthen delivery assurance and achieve successful outcomes.
• Work alongside junior staff and management locally and nationally on client delivery and engagements and maintain strong relationships with clients during and post engagements.
• Provide technical knowledge direction coaching and training to colleagues through day-to-day engagement delivery.

• Experience in the transformation and program delivery assurance and risk or technology management spaces. This could include experience supporting organisations to manage risks across portfolio program and project management particularly in the context of digital transformation initiatives (e.g. cloud CRM ERP implementations).
• Experience in program risk management and program delivery applying waterfall or agile methodologies managing the Software Development Lifecycle working in DevOps or supporting program governance activities.
• Previous client-facing experience is ideal

Qualifications :

• Relevant qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. Accounting Business Information Systems Computer Science or relevant).
• Certifications in program assurance such as Prince2 or Scrum are highly desirable.
