Description of ESY
ESY is a continuation of educational support services provided to our students who qualify for special education services and ESY through a PPT. Services are provided to students ages 3-22. ESY will run for four (4) or five (5) weeks during summer 2026. Positions are determined by student need. Candidates must be able to work the entire date range (four or five weeks).
Available Position
Responsibilities
- Working with students with a variety of disabilities;
- Handle with Care Trained (or willing to be trained);
- Implement goals and objectives on each students IEP (with support from classroom teacher);
- Support classroom teacher in data collection (if necessary);
- Collaborate closely with all staff;
- Diaper changing and lifting changing may be required;
- Student supervision;
- Maintain consistent and punctual attendance; and
- Student Centered.

4 Week Program:
June 29 - July 23 2026 MondayThursday

5 Week Program:

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to stand walk sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
