Job Title: Sales Associate New & Used Car Dealership
Position Overview
The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by helping clients find the right vehicle to meet their needs and budget. This position involves maintaining strong product knowledge building relationships and achieving individual and team sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner throughout the entire buying process.
- Needs Assessment: Listen to customers to understand their preferences requirements and financial considerations.
- Product Presentation: Demonstrate features capabilities and benefits of both new and pre-owned vehicles.
- Sales Process:
- Conduct test drives with prospective customers.
- Explain financing options warranties and after-sale services.
- Prepare and complete all necessary documentation for sales transactions.
- Follow-Up: Maintain contact with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Inventory & Display: Assist in maintaining lot appearance and ensure vehicles are clean well-presented and accurately priced.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about current promotions trade-in values competitor offerings and new product releases.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Experience: None required.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing ability.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and dealership software.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
