Basic Function: | Provide advising counseling and administrative services to international students and family members (including but not limited to academic programs admissions scholarships visas etc.). Recruit students from assigned world regions and evaluate foreign credentials for admissibility and transfer credit. Reports to the Assistant Director International Student Recruitment and Admissions. |

Minimum Qualifications: | Bachelors Degree in Marketing Public Relations Counseling Communications Education International Studies Foreign Languages or related field; three months working in an admissions or international education office or relevant experience is required. License/Certification: Knowledge Of: Personal computer applications (e.g. MS Office Suite including database spreadsheet word processing internet e-mail; ERP application - Banner preferred) * Skill In: Highly developed written and interpersonal communications skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively with all components of the university and external constituents involving diverse cultures including group presentation and conflict resolution skills) * Ability To: Apply marketing principles to produce a variety of department materials (brochures advertising and Website initiatives * |
Preferred Qualifications if applicable: | Masters degree in a related field and an additional 3 months experience studying living or working abroad. Foreign language / bilingual abilities highly preferred. |
