Job Summary

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our steel manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning designing and supervising civil and structural projects related to the plant infrastructure ensuring safety quality and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and oversee construction of plant buildings warehouses roads and other infrastructure.
Plan and supervise foundation works for heavy equipment and steel structures.
Conduct structural analysis and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Inspect ongoing construction for quality safety and adherence to project specifications.
Coordinate with architects mechanical electrical and production teams for integrated project execution.
Manage civil construction projects including budgeting scheduling and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
Perform soil investigation material testing and foundation evaluation for plant structures.
Prepare reports technical documentation and project progress updates for management.
Support maintenance and repair activities for existing civil structures within the plant.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum X years of experience in industrial or heavy construction projects preferably in steel manufacturing or related industries.
Proficiency in AutoCAD STAAD Pro or similar structural design software.
Strong knowledge of construction materials methods and standards.
Excellent problem-solving communication and project management skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with steel plant infrastructure or industrial construction projects.
Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations in industrial settings.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team under strict timelines.
