Job Summary

ICP Is looking to hire a Shipping Clerk for our Andover MA manufacturing plant. The shipping clerk is responsible for the entire shipping process at ICP Industrial. This includes scheduling LTL & TL pickups customer appointments dispatch paperwork package preparation & carrier labels real time communication with production scheduling and customer service.

This position requires good computer skills strong problem solving and a high-level of organization. This team coordinates the loading and unloading of trucks all over the USA of our products. It is a great opportunity to fine tune your skills in logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Sort outbound freight.
Palletize and shrink wrap freight.
Adhere address labels to freight.
Attach SDS to freight.
Verify Bill of Lading and Packing slip has correct product information.
Schedule carriers to pick up.
Confirm appointments at destinations.
Notify supervisor of any product/label discrepancies.
Communicate coordinate and work with appropriate department heads.
Ability to communicate with others on a timely basis.
Received material in Syspro.
Services and non-stock materials receiving in Syspro (MROs)

Education Experience and Skills Required

High school diploma or GED with some office experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Forklift experience required.
Experience with WMS (warehouse management system).
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion with minimum instructions adhere to prescribed routines and practices maintain records and to make reports requiring accuracy.
Ability to work well with others and to assist cooperatively and courteously.
Skill in the application of modern office techniques and practices and the use and care of office machines and equipment.
Ability to follow directions.
Ability to read and understand company policies standard operating procedures and training materials.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable and change priorities and direction as needed.
Must have a positive attitude towards work and have the ability to work as a member of a team.

Compensation: 18.00 - $20.00/hr. Actual pay is dependent on candidates overall skills for the role.
