Job Summary
Logistics Coordinator / Logistics Support Specialist
Nettleton Mississippi
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused professional to join our team in a fast-paced urgent-fill role. The ideal candidate can manage multiple tasks efficiently maintain accuracy under pressure and communicate promptly and professionally with clients.
Logistics experience is required. Candidates without logistics experience will not be considered.
Interviews will begin next Tuesday.
Schedule & Pay
- Shift: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
- Location: Nettleton MS
- Starting Pay: $18/hour
- Increase: $19/hour upon permanent hire
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics and transportation coordination
- Respond quickly and professionally to client emails and requests
- Track freight movement and resolve shipping issues
- Maintain freight records including OS&D (Overages Shortages & Damages)
- Provide customer service and support account needs
- Assist with transportation scheduling tracking and reporting
- Enter and maintain accurate data and shipment records
- Support procurement and supply chain operations
- Assist with onboarding staffing support and training activities
- Contribute to client relations and business support efforts
Required Qualifications
- Previous logistics experience
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
- Professional written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Transportation logistics experience
- Freight management and OS&D experience
- Supply chain or procurement background
- Customer service or account management experience
- Experience with transportation planning and reporting
