Non-Invasive Cardiologist (MD/DO)
Position Summary
The Non-Invasive Cardiologist provides comprehensive cardiovascular care through the evaluation diagnosis and medical management of patients with heart and vascular conditions. This role focuses on non-invasive diagnostic testing preventive cardiology and evidence-based treatment working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions
- Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac diagnostic studies including echocardiography stress testing ambulatory monitoring and cardiac imaging as applicable
- Diagnose and manage coronary artery disease heart failure arrhythmias valvular disease hypertension and lipid disorders
- Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations
- Develop and implement individualized evidence-based treatment plans
- Participate in preventive cardiology and risk-reduction initiatives
- Collaborate with interventional cardiology electrophysiology cardiac surgery and primary care teams
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses treatment options and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement patient safety and outcomes initiatives
- Comply with all regulatory accreditation and professional standards
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease
- Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure
- DEA registration or eligibility

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand walk and sit for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for diagnostic testing and clinical procedures
- Visual and auditory acuity sufficient for patient assessment and interpretation of diagnostic studies
Requirements
