Job Summary
The maintenance helper will aid in completion of required preventive maintenance and repairs as directed by the site manager/lead and/or addition maintenance helper will support janitorial needs as needed directed by Site Lead.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain and repair/replace equipment/requested for building and grounds needs including but not limited to touch up and repair painting plumbing HVAC electrical lighting furniture moves event set ups and tear downs. |
Assist in performing preventive maintenance work as identified by Site Lead. |
Complete any other tasks identified by Site manager/lead to include supporting the janitorial staff. ( i.e. floor cleanings deep cleaning classrooms bathrooms. |
Qualifications
Entry Level Handyman | Minimum Requirements Include the minimum entry-level requirements to perform the duties of the position |
Education (HS Diploma Under/Graduate Degree etc.) | High School Diploma G.E.D or Equivalent |
Business Experience (prior years work/related experience) | One to Three years |
Licenses/Certifications | Valid drivers license required |
Language Skills | Ability to read and comprehend instructions including but not limited to safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations. |
Physical Demands
Frequently required to stand walk use hands to finger handle or feel climb ladders or stairs and talk or hear. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms stoop kneel crouch or crawl. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and or/move up to 50 pounds.
